Day 1: Depart – Lanzhou (MOB/L/D)
Take a flight from the international airport to Lanzhou (Stopover in Kunming). Upon arrival, transfer by vehicle to visit Zhongshan Bridge of Lanzhou, formerly known as the First Bridge and also called the Lanzhou Yellow
River Iron Bridge. Then proceed to visit the Yellow River Mother Sculpture, located on the southern bank of the Yellow River in Lanzhou, in the middle section of Binhe Road, north side of Xiaoxihu Park. After that, head to Zhengning Road Night Market. After dinner, check in to the hotel and rest.
Day 2: Lanzhou – Zhangye (B/L/D)
After breakfast, head to Zhangye to visit the Zhangye Rainbow Danxia (including shuttle bus). This is the only area in China where Danxia landforms and colorful hills coexist. Walking through it feels like stepping into the
mythical world of "The Magic Brush"—running and leaping through a living painting, as if the world has shed its dullness. In the evening, under the glow of the setting sun, golden light bathes the entire landscape of peaks
and ridges, gradually transforming it into a vibrant, fairy-tale world as the sunset fades. After dinner, check into the hotel and rest.
Day 3: Zhangye – Xining (B/L/D)
After breakfast, head to Xining. Upon arrival in Xining, view the Dongguan Grand Mosque from the outside. It is one of the five major Jumu'ah mosques in China. Next, visit Limeng Pedestrian Street, located in the Chengxi District of Xining, between Wusi Avenue and Xiguan Street. It was rebuilt from the former Nan Shangye Alley and is considered the first true pedestrian street in Xining. After dinner, check into the hotel and rest.
Day 4: Xining – Chaka (B/L/D)
After breakfast, head to Chaka Sky No. 1, known as the "Mirror of the Sky" (includes a small train ride). This natural crystallized salt lake holds 4.5 billion tons of salt, enough to supply the nation for 80 years. Named one of the "55 Must-Visit Places in a Lifetime" by National Geographic, its breathtaking reflection of the sky rivals Bolivia’s Uyuni Salt Flats. After dinner, check into the hotel.
Day 5: Chaka – Xining (B/L/D)
After breakfast, head to visit a Tibetan village. Then proceed to explore Erlangjian Scenic Area at Qinghai Lake (including a boat ride and Bus). Known for its unique geographical location that extends deep into Qinghai Lake, Erlangjian features grasslands, beaches, and wildlife as its main ecological attractions, enriched by local cultural activities, making it a shining jewel of the Qinghai Lake tourist area. After arriving in Xining, enjoy dinner and check into the hotel for a restful night.
Day 6: Xining (B/L/D)
After breakfast, head to Kunlun Jade. Then proceed to the Tibetan Medicine Museum. After that, visit Ta'er Monastery, one of the six major monasteries of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism (including electric car and guided tour). This sacred site is not only the birthplace of Master Tsongkhapa but is also renowned for its three artistic wonders: butter sculptures, murals, and appliqué embroidery. The solemn golden-roofed halls, fluttering prayer flags, and devoted pilgrims together create a breathtaking religious tableau. After dinner, check in at the hotel and rest.
Day 7: Xining - Lanzhou – Return (B/L/MOB)
After breakfast, head to Lanzhou, visit Baitashan Park, located within the Baitashan Scenic Area on the north side of Zhongshan Bridge in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. Nestled along the northern bank of the Yellow
River, the park serves as a natural barrier on the northern edge of Lanzhou. Next, visit the Waterwheel Expo Park, situated on the south bank of the Yellow River along Binhe East Road in Chengguan District, Lanzhou.
This theme park showcases waterwheel culture and is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Established in 2005, it is the largest theme park in the world in terms of the variety and number of waterwheels.After the
visits, you will be transferred to the airport at an appropriate time for your return journey home (Stopover in Kunming).
